Volunteer

Active Good works with our community partners to identify projects where our volunteers can be used.

Our priority is to take care of our volunteers. As we have families and full-time jobs ourselves, we know how valuable your time is. We will do our best to communicate early and efficiently when we schedule our volunteer projects. In addition, Active Good is in the process of shopping for liability coverage for our volunteers to ensure that they are comfortable putting in the work and being covered if anything unforeseen were to happen.

Don’t worry about not having any specialized experience. Working with our partners, we will provide the resources and guidance needed to be a great volunteer. Active Good provides project coordinators to manage the work and ensure volunteers are aware of how to use their skills and how to accomplish the task at hand. We are here to help you and support you.

Donate

Knowing your time and resources are valuable, we are sensitive to what donations are used for. We will be as transparent as possible in showing you where your dollars go with your donation. Thank you for your consideration when supporting Active Good. Donations go towards:

• Reimbursing volunteers for gas and other expenses
• Maintenance of Active Good materials and resources
• Feeding and caring for our volunteers
• Active Good Marketing (website hosting and related expenses)
• Insurance to cover our volunteers while on the job
