Our vision at Active Good is to create a vibrant and compassionate community where giving and service are ingrained in the culture. We aspire to be the leading nonprofit organization in Sheridan, Wyoming, that supports and empowers local nonprofits through innovative programs and community-driven events. By fostering a culture of generosity and collaboration, we aim to improve the quality of life for all members of our community.

Local nonprofit organizations play a critical role in building and strengthening communities. They are often the first to respond to local needs, providing essential services and support to those who need it most. These organizations are a lifeline for many people, helping to create a sense of belonging and connection, and making our communities stronger and more resilient.

Active Good seeks to improve the ability for nonprofits to raise funds to facilitate reaching their goals and objectives.

History

A group of like-minded individuals saw a need for alternative resource injections into local nonprofits beyond their everyday fund raising initiatives. We saw a need for local nonprofits to have another avenue of fundraising and awareness of their missions and goals.

Working with Local Organizations

Nonprofit organizations have been struggling in and around the Sheridan Wyoming area, and all of our volunteer work guided us to the realization that there is a large need for alternative fundraising and resources. We thought, “How great would it be if a volunteer organization could use their talents to rally people in their community to care for the nonprofits they benefit from every day?”

Active Good was born out of the passion and necessity to care for the nonprofits we encounter every day. We live in an amazing community and strive to continually improve our nonprofit opportunities so our community, as well as our friends and family, can continue to enjoy the resources and services that these organizations provide.
